National Stationery Show

As you know I love all things paper... so naturally I sought out the biggest trade show for paper goods in the US- The National Stationery Show in NYC!

Gearing up for the event mentioned above- I have been slowly but surely photographing all my products and gathering up self promotional items. Here are a few examples.

Things are looking up.

It has been a productive winter break so far.

First Official Illustration Class Completed

Hello all! 

I am now finished with my intense winter quarter at SCAD.

Here are a few drawings from my first illustration class...

The funny thing is I want to redo all of these now that I know what I want them to look like!

There were quite a few more...but they were sleep deprived ugly drawings haha!

Ok last frame post in this series- I'm not quite sure what my plant inspiration was on this but I kind of went with it.

Frames Study- Part 6

I have been craving berries which is good because usually my cravings involve chocolate milk... no I'm not preggers I just happen to always crave specific food items.

 I can't imagine how I will be when I actually do have a bun in the oven one day. Pray for my husband haha!

Anyways to get back on point. Here is a fun berry wreath! I might turn it on its side and make it into a recipe card.

Frames Study- Part 4

Not sure what prompted this frame, but I am sure it has something to do with watching Julie & Julia for the 57th time or reading that Pearls Before Swine comic before bed. 

It will probably surround a beautifully written quote from Julia,  Coco Chanel, or someone else I like.

Frames Study- Part 3

I will probably use this one with a sympathy card since white calla lilies are often a funeral flower... or at least that is what I learned from cartoons!

It's simplistic in nature but I am really loving the results.

Frames Study- Part 1

I design custom family & pet portraits on Etsy and I like to "frame" the main subject with floral and fauna to add a little something. This week I will be showing a new one every day!
